What is liposculpturing?
Liposculpturing is the technique of modelling and correction of your body contours through removing the excessive fat from one area and its injection to the areas which require correction.

Self-preparation for surgery

  • 14 days before the surgery, it is necessary to stop taking hormonal and aspirin-containing drugs. If you cannot follow this recommendation, it is necessary to inform your surgeon about the systematic intake of these medications. Also, you should quit smoking or minimise it up to 2 cigarettes a day.
  • 7 days before the surgery, it is necessary to exclude spicy and fatty foods, stop drinking alcohol, and limit physical exertion.
  • In the evening before the surgery, it is necessary not to take any food. Safe anaesthesia requires the stomach to be empty before the surgery.
  • In the morning on the day of the surgery, when arriving at the clinic, be sure to have comfortable clothes that do not compress the shins, personal hygiene products, spare underwear, and all the necessary documents and test results with you.

Specific aspects of the postoperative period

  • During first 12 hours, you should stay in the inpatient unit and have a rest.
  • During 2-3 weeks after the operation, it is necessary to exclude fatty, spicy, strongly salted, and fried food, as well as alcoholic beverages and exotic fruits from the diet. Also, the aspirin-containing drugs intake is prohibited. It is required to avoid rough bending and trunk turning or lifting weights as this can lead to increased swelling and soreness.
  • During 1 month, it is required to permanently wear a postoperative compression garments.
  • During 2 months after the operation, it is not allowed attending steam bath, sauna, solarium and sun bathing. Also, in this period, active sports, including swimming, are prohibited.

The course of complete rehabilitation?

Day 2 Discharge from the inpatient unit. It is allowed taking a shower.
In 1-2 months It is allowed visiting sauna, solarium, and fitness centres.
In 2-3 months You can evaluate the result of the operation.
